How to Install and Use Bertha Plugin
Installing and using Bertha is fairly simple. You can download the plugin via your WordPress dashboard, the Bertha.ai website or on WordPress.org. For the purposes of this article series, we always go through the steps to get set up and use the plugin from your WordPress dashboard.
Step 1: Install and Activate Bertha
You’ve likely installed WordPress plugins before. If so, and you’re familiar with how to upload, search for new and install, you can skip right over this section and move on to Step #2. If you’re new to the platform or it’s been a while, installation is simple.
- Go to your WordPress dashboard,
- Click on Plugins in the left sidebar,
- Choose Add New Plugin either in the dropdown menu or at the top of the general plugins window.
- Click the button that says “Install Now.”
- Once installed, click the blue “Activate” button.
Bertha AI is installed on your WordPress website now.
Step #2: New Account and Settings
You will need to set up an account with Bertha.ai, even if you’re using their free version. The good news is that when you click “Activate,” the process automatically pops up and the program talks you through the steps. On the first page, you’ll fill in your name and email and click the big, purple “Next” button to move on.
Bertha will ask about your business model and guide you to a video to learn more about the plugin. You’ll then add your brand settings, including your target audience, tone of voice and preferred language.

Step #3: Generating Content
